Make sure you get enough protein, you want to lose fat and not muscle. An excellent source of protein is meat, however whenever possible use lean ground beef, poultry or fish in place of red meat. Protein is the building blocks of muscle building.

Also reduce your intake of saturated fats and trans fatty acids that you consume by replacing them with monosaturated fats (found in olive oil and other heart healthy oils) and omega 3 fish oils. A lot of the packaged foods that you consume now possibly contain oils and chemical preservatives which could result in undesireable long term health conditions.

 Very nice article. Dear carol, i would like to clarify one thing; some people saying for reduce weight I should drink green tea & but some people saying Tea is not good for health. Now I am confused, so please clarify it.
